At Arch Armor Foot Supports Orthotics, our orthotics were designed by 25-year experienced Podiatrist,
Dr. Mark T Hastings, DPM (pictured on left) of Lake Oswego, Oregon
Dr. Hastings trained at a Harvard-based Residency in Boston, MA (Massachusetts General Hospital). He returned to Oregon in the 1990's to start his Lake Oswego, OR private practice. He now works for Providence St. Vincent's Medical Center. Over the years, he sought to design and offer functional orthotics arch supports that are thin (versatile for most shoe types) and made of a material offering exceptional support of the arch while maintaining some flexibility. Feet need this for proper biomechanics of walking and running. And if your orthotics arch supports are not fitting in many of your shoe types, they just aren't very practical and might end up in a drawer instead of in your shoes :)
